GLYOXAL RESINS
Immobilization technique allows affinity ligands’ binding giving high stability and making easy to re-use the conjugated ligand. Glyoxal beads allow a covalent binding of agarose to lysine amino groups.
ABT offers a wide range of products activated with different degree of aldehydes groups and using two different backbone (4% & 6% beads) and different particle sizes. Giving adequate options to work in batch or column purifications (Glyoxal Agarose Beads for Low Pressure applications) and large scale process (Glyoxal Rapid Run™ for High Pressure applications).
ABT Glyoxal resins allow a covalent binding of agarose to amino groups of ligands (antibodies, antigens, enzymes, proteins or other biomolecules). The aldehyde groups (resin) react with exposed primary amines (biomolecul). The result of the biomolecule immobilization is a stable and reusable resin for affinity purification in batch, spin column or gravity procedures.
